Key Takeaway: The official TorBox Stremio addon is no longer available. TorBox disabled its hosted addon on May 20, 2026, and the old manifest hostname does not currently resolve. Your TorBox account can still power Stremio through a compatible community addon such as Torrentio, Comet, or MediaFusion. Use a fresh API key, disable direct torrents…
Key Takeaway: The CyberFlix Stremio addon is no longer installable from its former ElfHosted address. The host marks Cyberflix Catalog deprecated, its manifest returns 404, and the maintained community directory has no current listing. Do not chase unofficial mirrors; remove stale entries, record the catalog rows you liked, and rebuild them with a maintained catalog…
Key Takeaway: The Annatar Stremio addon is no longer a dependable public-install option. ElfHosted redirects its former configuration and manifest addresses to an Annatar deprecation notice, while the source repository has not received code changes since August 2024. Existing self-hosted installations may still run, but new users should understand the maintenance, HTTPS, Jackett, debrid, and…
Key Takeaway: The AIOLists Stremio addon can combine Trakt, MDBList, and external catalog lists, but it should no longer be treated as a maintained long-term choice. Its maintainer marked the project inactive, ElfHosted deprecated the hosted instance, and Trakt OAuth has a current open failure report. Existing catalog-only setups may still work; new users should…
Key Takeaway: Brazuca Torrents is a free Stremio stream addon built for Brazilian Portuguese movies, series, and anime. Its v0.1.1 manifest and configuration page answered on August 18, 2026, but stream searches were inconsistent. The current setup supports seven torrent providers, P2P playback, filters, and eight optional debrid services. Brazuca Torrents solves a specific Stremio…
Key Takeaway: MediaFlow Proxy is not a standalone Stremio addon and does not provide a manifest, catalog, or streams. It is a separately hosted proxy that compatible addons can use to relay HTTP, HLS, DASH, debrid, and live streams. For most users, the correct setup is MediaFlow Proxy on a server, HTTPS in front of…
Key Takeaway: The Plex Stremio addon most people mean is Plexio, an independent bridge that adds your Plex movie and series libraries to Stremio. Use the maintained v0.10.3 self-hosted fork or ElfHosted’s separately maintained service. Plexio supplies catalogs and playback routes from your server; it does not provide media, replace Plex Media Server, or bypass…
Key Takeaway: The TorrentsDB Stremio addon is working in August 2026, but it is a community-hosted torrent source rather than a content library. Its live configurator supports 23 providers, nine debrid services, language and quality filters, sorting, and result limits. Install one carefully configured copy, protect its personalized URL, and treat it as a backup…
Key Takeaway: The SubMaker Stremio addon combines subtitle aggregation with optional AI translation. Its fetch-only mode needs no translation key, while translated “Make [Language]” entries require your chosen AI provider. Version 1.4.88 was the current release on August 14, 2026. Start with one source language, a small provider set, XML Tags, and Mobile Mode on…
Key Takeaway: The Nuvio Streams Stremio addon has been sunset. Its former public address now redirects to a deprecation notice, and the developer archived the source repository on April 21, 2026. Existing private or self-hosted copies may still answer, but provider support can deteriorate. New users should choose a maintained replacement instead of following old…
