Key Takeaway: The original WebStreamr Stremio addon is archived, and its former public manifest now redirects to a retirement notice. You cannot install that shared instance today. Existing private or self-hosted deployments may still answer, but their extractors will gradually break as streaming sites change. Treat WebStreamr as retired software, remove its dead public entry,…
Key Takeaway: The AIOMetadata Stremio addon replaces one-size-fits-all metadata with selectable movie, series, anime, artwork, catalog, and search providers. The public ElfHosted configuration page was running version 2.12.0 on August 14, 2026. It does not supply streams; use it to improve discovery and title information, then keep a separate stream addon for playback sources. AIOMetadata…
Key Takeaway: The StremThru Stremio addon most people want is StremThru Torz, a configurable stream addon backed by a crowdsourced torrent database, optional indexers, and multiple debrid stores. The maintainer-linked public manifest answered normally on August 14, 2026 and reported version 0.103.2. StremThru is free and open source, but a debrid account may cost extra….
Key Takeaway: POV 6.08.05 is currently listed in the KodiFitzwell repository for Kodi 19 and newer. Install the repository ZIP from its verified address, add POV from Video add-ons, authorize one supported premium service, keep source filters modest, and diagnose scraping separately from resolving or playback. POV is a lightweight, Fen-derived Kodi video addon maintained…
Key Takeaway: Debridio is a paid addon bundle, not a debrid provider or IPTV subscription. Its official page lists $9.99 per year or $79.99 lifetime, covering all included addons, unlimited links under fair use, Discord support, an ad-free experience, and API access. Budget separately for any supported debrid account you connect. Debridio combines several Stremio-facing…
Key Takeaway: Stremio Addon Manager can reorder installed addons, move Cinemeta catalogs, remove non-protected entries, and export a local JSON backup. Create the backup before the first edit, move only a few items, sync once, and restart Stremio before deciding whether the new order worked. Stremio normally displays addon catalogs according to the installed addon…
Key Takeaway: Anime Kitsu is listed as version 0.0.10 with 99 catalog installs. Use it for Kitsu-powered anime discovery, then evaluate the separate playback addon on its own. Begin with one language, one instance, and one familiar legally available series. I reviewed Anime Kitsu as a metadata component rather than a streaming solution. The checks…
Key Takeaway: Torrent Catalogs is listed as version 1.0.2 with 57 catalog installs. Install Anime Kitsu first when anime rows matter, then add Torrent Catalogs and confirm movies, series, and anime independently. Treat popularity as discovery data, not a playback or rights guarantee. I assessed Torrent Catalogs as a popularity-driven discovery layer. This walkthrough separates…
Key Takeaway: Flix-Streams is listed as version 1.1.20 with 65 catalog installs. Start in Simple mode with one free on-demand provider and a common H.264 title. Add live, sports, library, subtitle, or supporter sources only after that baseline plays reliably. I reviewed Flix-Streams around its direct HTTP and HLS delivery model, not torrent behavior. The…
Key Takeaway: Nyaa / AniScraper is listed as version 2.5.0 with 50 catalog installs. Configure AniScraper with one currently available anime provider and one delivery method. Do not judge the whole addon by direct Nyaa.si access while its maintained listing marks that integration temporarily unavailable. I followed AniScraper from anime title matching through AnimeTosho, AniRena,…
